Despite the fact that I'm working on a navy background, yesterday's stitching went quite well. No sun outside but with all that fresh snow, lots of light reflection!
I was cruising along, until I took a break. When I picked it up again, I noticed a few stitches crossed the wrong way! I tried to ignore them, but...There they are! I think I'll unpick those before I talk myself into leaving them and not loving it as much as if I had taken the time and done it right. It's not like this is a race! It's a hobby, a very enjoyable one at that.
Well must post this, grab my shovel and clear the walk before taking a lunch break.

That is looking just beautiful! You are doing an amazing job. I do know what you mean about those stitches though! LOL Happens to the best of us! ;)
Moonlit cabin is moving right along! I suppose if you're finding the fabric too dark, you could stitch outside with all the SNOW! SNOW, already, eeekkkk! I think I'll just keep muttering and complaining about all the rain we are getting.
Oh and Freddie is up on the WIP list! I love Freddie and always wanted to do him.
Actually Wendy...that's Maggie the Messmaker, Frederick's cousin. I do have Frederick but I want to do a project on a lighter background next! frederick may have to wait until the spring!
Moonlit Cabin looks so pretty. Glad to see the dark fabric isn't getting you down.
Margaret
