The Beck family arrived in good time, early enough for us to play a few board games and catch up on the news. The grandkids quickly dove into the toy box and soon had stuff everywhere! They had so much fun.
Saturday we took them over to the outdoor rink where they were going to show us their skating skills. Well Alex's feet took a growing spurt and couldn't get his skates on, but with his boots and helmet on, he was more than happy to simply run around from net to net. Joseph did well, kept his ankles straight. He still needs practice stopping, but I always liked the grab on to anything approach myself.
Sunday was split between a brunch in the morning and them leaving for home while the sun was still shining and Dh having to go into work to trouble shoot. I tagged along because I always find the house very empty when company leaves. I think I helped at the warehouse for a few hours, got myself dirty but it was good to help DH out. They are in the midst of what they call the 100 days of chaos...This is when the majority of the company's profits are made. Everyone has to stay focus and give it their all. Someone didn't, hence our Sunday afternoon adventure. But I now understand the pressure DH is under...Which makes me a better person.

The boys look like they are having a great time! Great pics, thanks for sharing!
Sounds like a great weekend! And good for you for helping out hubby in his warehouse. You should give yourself a few extra hours of stitching time as a reward for your selfless behaviour.
