Milestone day!

Today my husband and I celebrate our 31st anniversary! Although it's been a while, it still seems like yesterday. We were young, broke but very in love.
We've have had our ups and downs and lots of moves - DH was military for 27 years. We always managed to work things out together, as a team.
We have 2 very independent daughters we are very proud of and 2 grandsons and another on the way. The girls have lived in 6 provinces and have friends across the country. Just this past summer we flew almost the whole gang to the Maritimes to re-connect with the family.
We have lived in everything fromcottages & apartments to houses, in rural areas and some capital cities. Some stays were shorter than others. Some harder to leave than others. but we always managed to laugh along the way.
We had some lean years where we would count our change for a jug of milk. Now we are fortunate enough to help others along the way. Our doors are always open to family & friends.
I'm not sure what the future holds for us, but we will face it together, holding hands and dreaming!

Happy Anniversary - 31 years of marriage is an amazing milestone to reach, and I'm sure you have the gray hairs to prove it!

You and your hubby are 5 years ahead of us....

Congratulations on your 31st anniversary. That means you were married in 1975 just like DH & I.
