Weekend plans

DD & family should arrive late...~midnight...hopefully the kids can be transferred into their beds without waking. If not, we'll all be up!

Saturday morning will be casual...just in case we sleep in! We may check out the farmer's market. We all golf @ 1pm and then home for a relaxing BBQ supper and stories etc. Saturday evening we'll probably play some board games...Joseph loves UNO. Alex is happy with Play-Doh.

Sunday, the men are off for 18 holes at a more challenging course while we check out the new playgrounds. Our town retro-fitted many of the aging ones. If it gets warm enough, we'll take the kiddies to the splash park...won't be too many more opportunities before they close it down for the season. Sunday dinner will be more formal...roast of some kind. We are thinking turkey! Yum!

Monday, a quick dip in the hot tub, brunch and then pack the family up for their trip home. Both boys start school on Tuesday. This will be Alex's first day at pre-school. He is so excited about finally getting into school. Joseph on the other hand is starting his third year of riding the bus!

Joe & I will be watching the Labour Day classic CFL competitions....focusing mainly on the west's Edmonton Eskimos @ Calgary Stampeders. The Esks host the Stamps on the second leg of this rivalry Friday...still waiting to hear if my nephews are coming up for the game. Hurry up guys...so I can track down some tickets.

Looks like the month of September is going to be busy but good if this is any indication!

Take care...drive safe if you are on the roads!

Your weekend sounds like fun, Berta. Enjoy it!!! I plan on enjoying mine even though the majority of it is jarring tomato sauce for the year. :)
