The good thing about a stash

On those days when you feel out of sorts, you can always find a little project to do!
This was the fabric of my sewing chair...very serviceable but hardly reflective of how I feel when I'm being creative.  So I dug through my tickle trunk of fabric and with some manly help my chair now looks like this -
I got the idea to do this on a couple other blogs...I didn't know that the plastic backing would just pop off with a little persuasion!

Then my memo board which I absolutely love the fabric of...looked too summery compared to the rich tapestry.  The colours were similar but not the feeling.  So this
was recovered and now looks like this
Now to get busy!!!! Betty Boop is back on track, she will be donated to J's family
in her honour!

Have a great Sunday...Spring is just around the corner now that daylight savings has returned!

Gee, you've been busy! I'm wondering if my computer chair can be done that easily... ;o)

We just removed the screws and the front was pried off the plastic backing...it was just a tight pressure fit + screws holding it on. The seat came off much the same way! If I had known this then...I would have changed it multiple times!
