Honest, I didn't forget you

Silver Birch pieces DH picked up for me...,just waiting for a fancy meal with cheese, pickles and a few sweet treats!
Some backstitching progress

Kisses and Hugs
Our quilting group is working on some smaller projects which will be donated to a worthy cause, hopefully local.  This pattern is a take off of QUILTMAKER's 2004 Kisses and Hugs .  It was my intention to follow the pattern exactly but because we are using bits of donated fabric in the oddest sizes, I had to add more sashing etc.  I think it turned out cute.

It's another hectic weekend.  4 days ago we received an invitation to a last minute wedding.  Joe was supposed to be back at work tomorrow but he quickly re-arranged his schedule, went back early and will be coming coming in time to slow down, pick me up with our dress up clothes and head south for the celebration Saturday.  Sunday we lose an hour of sleep...daylight saving time kicks in...but we have to high tail it back north to drop me off, and Joe will continue back to work for a BIG meeting with some VIP's on Monday. Should be fun!

I'll let you know next week just how much fun!  Take care!

My Mom had Silver Birch dishes when she was in her own home. I like it very much but since I already had my own different pattern, my Sister-in-Law got those dishes.

That Hugs and Kisses quilt is really cute.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! I've never seen the Silver Birch patter but it's very pretty. I've frogged most of my spring chair this week. Love the quilt.

The comment before this is in reference to another wedding we attended...driving down the road with the wedding cake when we realized our dress up clothes were still at the house. Turned around , drove 3 hours back, picked them up and came back...long drive that time! Thanks for the smile H!

Glad to see you're still working on your stitching :o)

Yes, losing one hour is going to hurt but at least we get more daylight!
