On target!

It's funny how someone else can see what you can not. I hadn't realized how much the legacy quilt project was stressing me until I decided to have some fun this past week and do someone just for me. My darling husband...who is working out of town again but still feels my tension...commented on a photo I emailed him by saying I had my groove back!!!! He's so right...I do have that easy going groove feeling again!

So what was the photo...it was this without the borders. I polled my family and this fabric choice won. Without any hesitation, they will pick this fabric and oh how right they are. Looks wonderful! Thanks!!!! It was a fun piece to put together...now to get it quilted.

and...drumroll please...

I'm back to cross stitching. Thanks to Cathey for lighting a fire with a gentle reminder...

I hadn't realized how much I missed sitting in the afternoon sun and quietly stitching. I like love the way my days are unfolding!

I'm still reading but haven't updated my list in the sidebar. So many wonderful books, so little time!  On that note...I have some gardening to do on this most glorious day!  Take care everyone!

Good for you for getting back to some things that you truly enjoy and taking a break from the legacy quilt project. Love your Halloween wall hanging and such a cute Christmas start! I was beginning to wonder if you were still stitching. :)
