Hiding in my stash!

This was one of my first pieces I did, not sure of the date but if the colours - blue & pink, are any indiciations, it's probably late 80's!

Now that it's back out in the daylight, I should measure it up for a frame! I don't think I had framing $ when I finished it, hence tucking it away.

I was looking through my stash for some flannette fabric that I was given. I'm making up burp cloths for our soon to arrive grandson #3!

Mommy had a great check up and it seems that anytime after Dec 2 will be full term! And here I was draggin my feet waiting fro closer to the 23rd!
So Moonlit Cabin will be on the back burner while I try and figure out how to rethread my serger! Love the results, just hate it when I have to change colours!

What an absolutely lovely hidden treasure - it calls out to be framed.
So happy to hear that your DD had a good check-up. This is such an exciting but anxious time for all of you.
Good luck with the rethreading of your serger. Now that's one thing I don't have to worry about. Sold my sewing machine when we left Holland and I'm not sorry as I was always tense when sewing.
This was the last of three exchanges in '06 & I probably won't take part in them in '07. Do want to continue with 'Love Quilts' though as these kids can use a little extra love & they are such a joy to stitch.
I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this book challenge (summertime would have been better).
Hope you're having a great week.

You should get it framed for sure. What an awesome piece and I just love the saying on it. So glad that all is well with mommy and baby, such good news. December 2nd is just right around the corner! Good luck with that serger, I know that my mom hates to have to re-thread hers too!
