Off track this week

It seems like forever since I stitched, even the frogging would have been fun!

Tuesday was mammogram day...yeah...got the girls checked out, results in ~ 10 days. Had a nice chat with some of the others waiting their turn...seems Alzheimer's is more prevalent than I thought in our little town. It's nice to know I'm not the only one going through this...although it being my father has to be easier that it being a spouse!

Tuesday afternoon I was invited to a training seminar Wednesday for a new MS software program that DH's company owns and wants to launch. Training has fast paced, especially for me because I was the FNG - new gal! - and the others had a previous training session and manuals to review! They are also already employed and are more than familiar with the products, coding etc. They do not however have the aptitude or interest in administering this program. I thought the day went well, especially after I received a manual and had a chance to review it.

At the last minute the next day's training was abruptly cancelled...seems the company is unsure as to the integrity of the program 's data input ( right now there are over 1200 items to be verified). Once this goes lives, the tickle down effect could be huge if it doesn't work properly. All the camp orders could be thrown into chaos...not a good thing! So while they , the company executives, poke it with a stick, I've resigned myself to being the boss of my days! Win win for me!

So plan on a quiet extended time of listening to favorite tunes and stitching away!
