Feeling more comfortable

The first stitch has to be the hardest, in my book anyways. After I don't know how many false starts, I got the grid done for Frederick. I think this is going to be such a time saver in the long run.

I did find that I can't stitch on dark after being outside....my eyes just can't adjust. However, I stumbled across the secret for me!

I tried something new this morning, and stitched in the bright sun rise...I got almost half the grid done with ease! I was going even before DH got out of bed! I did put it down long enough to get his breakfast and see him out the door....then I was back at it.

Thanks for the support everyone, hopefully the next picture will be more dramatic!

Welcome to Fred's world!! It's a good place to be - lots of books to read and a purring cat to keep us company.
Smart girl to take advantage of the early morning light. I find I can stich the brighter colors during the evening using my OTT-Lite. Of course it gets dark much earlier here so that's a good thing.
Will check back with you soon and post my own update this weekend.

Congrats. on getting the grid done. Frederick has been one of my fav. since I saw it. I don't have it, but I love books and cats! Should add it to my stash! lol

It just amazes me that you took all this time to grid it out but I agree, I think it will be well worth it in the end. I just can't imagine!
