When the frogs start a-coming...

I stopped stitching! Poor Fred...will he ever get done? I found my mistake, corrected it and put it down. Smart move don't ya think?

My cold is progressing but I can think clearer now I'm on non drowsy meds! DUH!

I spent my free 'stitching' time searching for the broken link to one of my family trees that is online. Wasn't I the happy camper when I found it.

Also found a sliver of an old photo, taken in 1939 of my great - grandmother Alice Almeda Statton 1887-1966).

We named our youngest daughter Lesley Mae Alice after her. Just wanted to share!

I hope the cold gets better soon.

Don't stop stitching Fred - he really is an easy stitch. I've only had a few problems cos I changed from a very open weave to a tighter one. He looks great in the daylight.

Keep posting family news. It's great to see pics of happy occasions, hear news (even when it's not all good) & it's also comforting to know that other people's lives aren't all 'Stepford' straight, if you know what I mean. As the saying goes 'When you are going through Hell, keep going!' HUGS

I hope your cold goes away soon. There is nothing worse than being sick in nice weather :o(

Sorry about Fred but maybe your body is telling you to just rest for a bit and Fred will be there when you get back ;o)

That is so neat about the picture you found. My parents have been working on their family tree as well. Seems to be a very popular thing to do now.

It's so fun to see postings of family news and oh how I love old pictures.

Sorry about the cold. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Don't give up on Fred - he really is a sweetie and the further you get along the faster this pattern stitches.

Want to know a secret? I didn't stitch on him yesterday as I wanted to watch the finale of 'So You Think You Can Dance' and it was easier to do just straight forward stitching on Autumn's skirt. I promise to do better next week.
