I was having such a great day!

The sun was shining, I had my errands done, calls followed up, plans to pick up our grandson for the weekend...when the phone rang.

Seems dear Kizmit isn't doing well. Her year long battle with cancer is taking its toll of her. I'm sad for me, she was so friendly, peaking through the fence pickets or bounding across the lawn after her drive with Mommy. I'm sad for her mistress - my dear friend who will soon have to make that difficult choice of pet lovers. They will both be in my heart these next few days.

Frederick is starting to glow with the addition of the metallic threads. I have a love hate relationship right now. Love how it glitters but not happy with the awkwardness of the stiff thread. I'm sure my technique or lack there of is most of that problem.

I think I'll go and see if my faithful companion Cody would like to sit outside on the front porch and enjoy the glorious sunshine! It's that kind of afternoon. Take care.

I'm so sorry to hear about Kizmit :o( Those decisions are never easy to make no matter what.

I think we all go through that love/hate relationship at some points and I'm sure your technique is just fine ;o)

Oh sad time for the owner. Life is just an everchanging circle.

Good luck with your metallics. They are troublesome but well worth it when you see it finished.
