Better each day - Updated

Addendum: I started this quilt top late February while awaiting the end of that darn audit. I finally got my records back, along with a horrid bill and the new court order. And the date for the next audit! I finished compiling Dad's taxes, he gets back all that he paid. A quick trip into town, get the taxes weighed and into the mail, throw the new court order into the safety deposit box - I keep a couple of copies at home for ready reference.

We are off on a garden club field trip - Calgary Horticultural show on Saturday. I'm making some goodies to take along to share with 30 of my closest friends! DH is tagging along...he just realized he's probably going to be the sole male and may be there as pack mule for our purchases!

I continue to feel more like my old self...I think my back trouble was part stress, damp weather and my changing womanly self as I gradually get into that next phase of life! Personally I can't wait to be done with it all! Til next time - keep smiling!

Well This is the best I've felt in quite a number of days. I even managed to do a bit of yard clean up over the weekend...did you know we got up to +24'C??? Today we plunged back down but I'm okay with that. The heat and bright was on the intense side of the scale. Not used to it!

Still no cross stitching progress. my mind wasn't ready for the concentration. I did get all the tax returns done. I 'e' filed DH & mine and Dad's is in snail mail. Joe pays a little, already done! and Dad & I both get a bit back.

Recently I've gotten reacquainted with my SIL and we found out we both love quilting. I sent her along this photo of Jonathan's quilt in the making. I'm planning on some decorative stipple stitching in the stars with some bright gold floss.

Now my head is filled with ideas for future projects! As if I needed the encouragement!!!! It's all good at the end of the day, right?

Plans are in the works for my card making debut next month. DD has her own business and I'm a satellite member but I think I'll actually get to an meeting with real people! I better practice my cutting skills...I'm still recovering from that sliced finger last week!

So between Frederick needing some attention, quilting, gardening, and now card making...I think I better post this and go work on a WIP!

Are you SERIOUS???? I think the closest we've had so far was +15 C :o(

That quilt is just gorgeous Berta!!!! When did you put that one together?

I'm happy to hear that you're feeling better. It seems that a lot of people have been coming down with a cold or the flu this spring :o(

Your quilt is gorgeous Berta. I am always so amazed by quilters - it looks sooooo difficult.

Hope you didn't have too much snow this morning. It is time for spring.

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
