Family Day - enjoy with yours!

Today I'm feeling better except for a painful side...I think I may have hurt myself when my cough was at its worse. Now I'm noticing that my nose is super sensitive to smells, especially pepper. I don't go around searching for pepper to sniff but it seems that everything Joe cooks...and he's a dear to cook while I'm under the weather...is irritating my senses. He was upstairs in the kitchen working on a moose stew and I was in the basement working on laundry etc and I could feel the prickles begin. But the good news...my nose isn't half as raw as it was yesterday. Bag Balm to the rescue!

I have UPSTREAM all quilted and the label attached. I'll be delivering it tomorrow for the upcoming auction. I know there is at least 1 anxious bidder...seems this may be an annual quilt project, but how could I refuse, The UnderWear Affair is a great cause.

Tomorrow I'm on the road south, mainly to babysit with JR while Dad is on a sales trip and Mommy works. I'm bringing my camera and hope to get loads of candid photos of JR is his element. Should be fun. Joe will stay back and manage the home and make sure everyone goes in the right direction in plenty of time. I'll be home either late Wednesday or mid day Thursday.

Thursday is Garden club meeting...and we will be having an author in our midst -
Maggie Clayton What a great night of ideas that should be!

Friday is ballet for us... Joni Mitchell's The Fiddle and The Drum you would never know that we are without jobs, with all these social activities, but these were all planned and paid for last summer! We are confident that things will work out ( we have a nice nest egg to lean on if necessary) for our family! Have faith!
