Irene's Loving Hearts

This is the memory quilt I made for my MIL's 75th birthday. Each heart has the signature of a child, their partner or of a grandchild. The large block with the rose over the heart symbolizes Irene. She is an amazing woman who raised 7 children mostly on her own. Each has gone on to success and a happy family of their own.

Age does not stop this woman from traveling across the country to visit her kids/grandkids. Most times when she plans an upcoming trip there is gentle arguing over who gets Nannie next! She knits, quilts and even has a FaceBook page...who knows what is in her future!

Thank you for giving me Joe...he is my better half!
