I have to admit that I LOVE this quick project! I can't wait until it's cold enough to wear it. It's large enough to drape nicely around my neck similar to the pattern photo and it's more than generous to pull up over my head like a hood. And the best part...I love both sides!

Without further ado...here is my practice herb marker! I decided to run the herb names vertically down the shank of the dollar store forks. To make reading the name a bit easier slightly bend it back before inserting in to your pot. I also darkened the stamped text with my trusty black sharpie...quickly wiping off the excess, leaving the ink in the crevices. I used the smallest set that Lee Valley sells...2mm.

Your stamping looks wonderful! Isn't it fun? (Also great for pounding out your frustrations!) I'm not sure where I saw the idea, can't claim it as an original, but now the fun will be in finding other metal objects to stamp!
Beautiful cowl, I love the color you chose. I can't knit, but that is something I'd definitely wear.
