This & That

I mailed the fabric postcard...cost me 60 cents...and the postmistress was amazed by it.  Hmmm....I must be the first to mail this group challenge.  We meet on Monday, so I will ask the others how their version is going.

Betty Boop is back on track.  We are doing a split heart throw sized quilt for the family.  The other fabrics were selected yesterday and Monday will be sewing day. 

It took a bit but I have realized that I seem to have forgotten how to hold my cross stitch in my Q frame!  It just seemed so awkward..I ended up stitching a bit with the top edge leaning against my table top for support.  The one hand under one above...and I had some progress.  What a DUH moment.  :)

This weekend our clocks go back and I usually have a bit of trouble adjusting so I've started early.  Joe works for 6 am this morning and I got up with him and turned my clocks ahead when he left the house.  This way my lunch will be at the new time as will supper and bedtime...so tomorrow morning I should be back in the groove.  Wish me luck and

Don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors this weekend...it could save lives.
