2008 Goals and Dreams

I am so excited about some of my projects I have in mind to work on. There are so many wonderful charts out there and the finishing possibilities...I have yet to make a needleroll, flat fold, biscornu or fobs...I must make some fobs and matching needlecases! With out further ado...

Moonlit Cabin - frame
Flower Girl Teddy

Four Seasons Chairs - Janlynn

Springtime Blossoms - Bucilla

Barnabee's Quest I, II, & III

Gardener's Retreat - Bucilla

Man & Wife - D Morgan

Serenity Prayer - D V Giampa
I also have some quilts to make...one for my youngest grandson Jonathan, one for my charity race and one for my great niece/nephew due this August. I'm also in a quilting guild and will attempt a block a month project along with the others. Getting started is the hardest, right?

My calendar is quickly filling...A charity casino for #1 grandson's school, fundraiser for our
Team Crockett in March, charity race in June, #1 daughter's wedding in July - yikes...what am I go to wear?, and my best friend Peggy Anne is visiting from Halifax in September, a wine tasting tour of BC in the fall TBA, celebrate our 33 anniversary with Celine Dion's concert in October, then we are looking at Christmas 2008 at home! Not sure how many if any will be visiting us...but we are so looking forward to it.

My personal goals include 'less of me' but more calmness. I'm trying Spark People - so far I'm on target! I'm going to try a new to me financial tracking software. With encouragement from the garden club, I have new to me things I want to grow, including an annual eucalyptus! I have a night stand full of great books to read...thanks to cousin Lucie for a complete set of Steven King books!!!!!

Thank you to all my readers and through you I know I can achieve so much in 2008! Stay tuned!

Oh goodness! I don't know what I've been doing with my time! You are sooo organised. I think about my New Year (& resolutions) for about 2 weeks in January, work on them until the 21st & then usually dump them on NY Resolution Breaking Day - the 22nd.

I've also looked at 4 seasons many times! I see it & think 'Peace'
