Little did I know when I bought my stash of paper products last week, that I would be needing those really soft tissues with the lotion in them. I don't usually buy something so extravagant but the price was good enough to give it a try.
Well today, I'm appreciating their ultra softness because since mid day Sunday I've been going steadily down hill with yet another head cold. Between bouts of feeling cold and miserable to having some hot flashes, I've been sneezing and blowing my nose (which isn't even close to be raw and reddened!). DH was worried I'm not getting enough quality sleep since our nephews arrived. He may be right.
We had a beautiful roast chicken meal planned - until the phone rang. Could B do a staff run now?! Well K went along for the ride and we were left with all this food cooking. We ate very well - just the 2 of us which was nice treat. Tonight I will 'recycle' the roast in the form of hot chicken sandwiches with fries.
Anyways, we had a lovely evening, the boys ran late due to inclement weather and our faithful dog Cody decided to bark up a storm when they tip toed in at 11:45! Usually our dog doesn't hear a thing but she must have been awake already. Good girl, you did your job very well.
Back to my cold...I'm doing some hand stitching on a quilt... which coincidentally is keeping me ohso toasty warm this morning!

Next time I think I'm going to give those a try since my nose is raw at the moment. Cold just suck! Hope yours gets better soon.
