Busy week

I did get some quality sewing done with my fish..they are so cute to work on! I didn't like one set...lacked the punch I was after...so I am going to make up some replacements ones this weekend.
I took another bloggers advice and threw a flannel blanket I had in the linen closet over a door near my sewing area for an impromptu design board. Sure makes a huge difference! Thanks.

I am working on the winter chair..doing the window and shutters. Each season seems to be a favorite. Very enjoyable project.

After a delay, I have more clarification on my role in regards to Dad's estate. I've gone from trustee to applying to be an administrator. Someone was running interference earlier this week...I think it was from my seeming lack of action. However I am going as fast as I get the information and/or questions. My siblings will have to sign off on this otherwise we will have to pay someone to do this and all that is paid before any sign of an inheritance. I would like to see this through to the end after 8 years as trustee. We'll see...if I don't get the approval, less work for me, more time for projects!

Have a great weekend!

Your fish project sounds like it is coming along just great. I know what you mean about finalizing an estate. It is usually a long process and a very expensive one unless everyone is on the same page. Keep up the good work.

Glad to hear you are feeling up to some quilting and stitching. Like you I find every new season a favorite and I'm loving winter.

All the best as you go through the process of finalizing your father's estate. It is not only a lot of work but very emotional.

hugs, Margaret

I saw a picture below of the fish quilt you are making - its going to be stunning!

You definitely have your hands full with settling your Dad's estate. I was lucky enough to sidestep those and had my siblings takes over. Good luck!
