The garden is looking sad as the leaves yellow and blooms drop. Summer is quickly turning into autumn despite what the calendar says. I'm enjoying the cool freshness of the mornings. I am not a heat seeking gal!

Last week was the 60th birthday of a friend.  Her husband was away on business but had made reservations for the four of us Saturday afternoon.  They had been to The Melting Pot once before and it was our first time.  We were not disappointed!  We each had the 4 Course Experience and our server was incredible!  They did warn us it would be a big meal. I underestimated how big. Next time I'll wear my 'turkey pants'! 

It was a wonderful evening of laughs and friendship.  Happy Birthday my friend!
